The Nursery Rooms

Baby and Pre-nursery
This area has been divided by a low partition into two areas;

Baby Years (birth until mobile) and
Mobile Years (up to around 2 1/2 years).

This area has been designed with fun in mind. With free access to all toys, and a fun filled environment, young children develops
physically, intellectually, and socially.

Sensory and Early Years
This area has been designed with the active toddler in mind, to promote spacial awareness, develop motor skills, plus the social skills of sharing and team work.

With adjoining nappy facilities and low level toilets the children are able to develop confidently at their own pace, and prepare for
pre-school.

Pre-school
Pre-school Years (for children starting school the following September).

A year programme running from September to September working closely with the local primary schools in the area, to prepare your child
for the start of school.

The team will help your child prepare for school by offering a wide range of activities and experiences which include, computer, creative,
role play, messy play, literacy, environment, physical play and numeracy, also visitors from the community are invited to speak to the
children including the fire brigade, story teller, road safety officer and dentist.

This group also has regular visits to the local library. At this stage we work along side the Early Years Foundation stage.
